Architectural Draftsman & Designer

Aaron Salazar is the founding member of AMS Drafting & Design, Inc. and brings over 20 years of experience to the table. A husband and father, Aaron likes to spend time with his family outdoors enjoying the natural beauty that Folsom has to offer.

Born and raised in Colorado, Aaron began his drafting career when he moved to California to become employed by Cadre Design Group, Inc. an established, award-winning, local drafting and design firm, specializing in civil, structural and water/wastewater. After five years of work experience within the firm, Aaron decided to pursue his love of residential design, in which he gained some exposure and knowledge of while working for Cadre Design Group.  

Aaron moved to San Diego, CA and was lucky enough to join, yet another, award-winning architectural firm in La Jolla, CA, IS Architecture. IS Architecture specializes in historic preservation and high-end custom home design, which would lead Aaron down the residential design path in which he was seeking to gain more experience. After six successful years as a job captain and draftsman for IS Architecture, Aaron gained invaluable experience with all aspects of project design phases from initial conception to City submittals and permit processing.

Aaron moved back to Folsom to start a business of his own, in the city in which he began his career as a draftsman and designer so many years ago. AMS Drafting & Design, Inc. was established in 2012 so that Aaron could use his high-end residential background to pursue his dreams of business ownership and designing beautiful and functional spaces. AMS Drafting & Design, Inc. is now growing by leaps and bounds. Aaron is hopeful for future expansion and success that he attributes to hard work and to his amazing Clients!

Ande Salazar

Office Manager

Ande grew up in Folsom, CA and is a graduate of Folsom High School. As wife, mother and Realtor she thrives on keeping her family organized, happy, and successful in both life and business.

After high school she attended CSU, Chico and after majoring in Interior Design for a year she shifted concentration and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Geography. After graduating, Ande moved back to Folsom to pursue a career working for a national Engineering and Architecture firm doing both computer-aided mapping and administrative coordinating for FEMA contracts. While the position was fitting, after a few years had passed, she desired a change of pace and moved to San Diego, CA.

In San Diego, Ande began work as an executive assistant to the Principal Engineer of a prominent San Diego Civil Engineering Company and gained many years of experience in project administration and the City/County submittal and permit process. Ande and Aaron moved back to Folsom to be near family and to raise their own children in the town they now both call home. Ande worked at a National Consulting Engineering Firm managing contract analysis and billing of multi-million dollar government contracts, and while it was a wonderful opportunity, cubicle-life did not suit her outgoing personality. 

Ande finally decided to pursue her true passions, homes/design and entrepreneurship, and become a Realtor. She joined the top producing Baltar Group at eXp Realty and represents both buyers and sellers. With a passion for homes on both fronts, Ande and Aaron enjoy their overlapping careers and look forward to a very successful and fulfilling future together!
